UI window layouts

Silverstack offers several predefined UI layouts for the user interface to quickly switch the work scope. This enables you to quickly find all important features for a specific task like grading or audio sync.

The UI layouts in detail#

You can select the following configurations:

1. Files
2. Manage
3. Quality control
4. Color
5. Transcoding presets (Silverstack Lab only)

To toggle a specific UI layout, simply click the identically named buttons in Silverstack’s top right toolbar or open them via Window > UI Window Layouts.

1. UI layouts with one display#

1.1 Files
This layout is configured for file handling tasks.

• Left sidebar is enabled (library outline)
• Center view is set to list view
• Right sidebar is set to “Files and Hashes”
• The “Audio and Color” panel is disabled

1.2 Manage
This layout is configured for data and metadata management tasks.

• Left sidebar is enabled (library outline)
• Center view is set to collection view
• Right sidebar is set to “General Info”
• The “Audio and Color” panel is disabled

1.3 Quality Control
This layout is configured for quality control tasks.

• Left sidebar is disabled (library outline)
• Center view is set to playback view
• Right sidebar is set to “User Info”

• Left sidebar is disabled (library outline)
• Center view is set to playback view
• Right sidebar is set to “Look Library”

• Left sidebar is disabled (library outline)
• Center view is set to “Transcoding Preview”
• Right sidebar shows the presets
• The “Audio and Color” panel is disabled
