Offload Menu

The Offload menu lists mounted volumes and allows you to select a source for starting an offload workflow.

Individual folders or complete volumes can be selected as source.

Choose Folder… buttonOpens a system dialog to select a folder as the offload source.

Volume list#

The volume list shows all currently mounted (online) volumes.

Click a volume name to open the offload workflow for that volume
Hover over a volume name to reveal a … button, which opens a context menu with options to open the volume in Finder, eject it, or hide it from the list.

Note: Volumes marked in macOS as network drives or as “not unmountable” are automatically hidden from this menu.

New Volumes section
Volumes that have not been used in Silverstack before.

Previously used as Ingest Source section
Volumes that have already been used as an ingest source — for example, volumes that have been fully or partially offloaded already.

Other Volumes section
Volumes with other references to the Silverstack clip library, such as destination volumes.

Provides access to volumes currently hidden from the list and a shortcut to the volume management view.
