Dynamic metadata panel

Silverstack has a dynamic metadata panel that can display dynamic metadata for supported clip formats after it was extracted using the workflow configuration window. Dynamic metadata refers to information that changes over a clip’s time span (e.g., focus distance). It is stored in various formats and consequently needs a specific process to be accessed. Please note that this feature is only available for supported clip formats which are listed below.

User interface#

The dynamic metadata panel is located in the top left corner of Silverstack’s main screen and you can access it by clicking on the running man icon. You must first extract dynamic metadata using the workflow configuration window so the panel can display the data.

FPS
Shows the frames per second.

Tilt
Shows the current tilt angle in degree.

Roll
Shows the current roll angle in degree.

Focal Length
Shows the current focal length.

Aperture
Shows the current aperture value in T-Stop.

Focus Distance
Shows the current focus distance.

Lens
Shows the lens model.

Filter
Shows the filter.

ND Filter
Shows the ND filter value.

Tip: Lens, filter and ND filter mirror data from the library and can also be edited in the general info.
