Uploading files to Sony's Ci Media Cloud

You can upload clips to Sony Ci Media Cloud via a file request URL. Learn more about file requests and how to create them in Sony Ci Media Cloud’s user guide.

1. Configure the upload workflow#

In Silverstack’s library, choose the bin or folder that you want to upload. Open the media menu in the toolbar and select “Upload Clips to Ci Media Cloud…” to open the workflow configuration window containing the dedicated upload activity. In the resource selection activity, choose all assets that need to be uploaded.

1.1 Enter and validate the Ci Media Cloud file request URL#

Enter the file request URL from Sony Ci Media Cloud into the dedicated text field. By clicking the button Check , you can validate the URL and (if successful) additional information is retrieved and displayed, as shown in the image below.

1.2 Starting the upload#

Click the button Upload to start uploading your assets. You can review the status of upload jobs via Silverstack’s jobs view.

Tip: The general info stores a reference to the upload location as a remote resource. The information can also be included in reports.
