Library metadata exchange
It is possible to export and import Pomfort Silverstack library archives (.psla files) from one Silverstack project to another using the dedicated library exporter.
1. Exporting library archives#
Whole libraries, folders or bins can be exported using this feature. To start the process, open the library exporter via the export menu in Silverstack’s toolbar or the context menu. Within the following window, you may decide which content should be covered by the library archive. If you want to export the entire project, select “Library.” In addition, you can add a comment to describe the project and it will be shown when opening the library archive again. After clicking the button Export , you can choose a location to save the library archive to.

2. Importing library archives#
In order to import library archives from another computer, you can simply Double-Click the .psla file or open it via the menu or the Import button in Silverstack’s toolbar. Once the file has been opened, the library archive importer appears. You can see the folder’s name that is going to be imported as well as the author, the export date and the comment describing the library archive. You are able to choose between importing the metadata as a new project or into the current one.
