ShotHub allows to customize the library view in the web browser and to share those views when inviting others to the cloud project.
Smart Group Layout
There is an advanced “Smart Groups” view accessible from the Project Outline in the right sidebar that displays an alternative hierarchy of the currently selected folder level. Smart groups are auto-generated based on clip or shot metadata, and the smart groups are hierarchically sorted depending on the chosen layout. The sorting of the Smart Groups is usually alphabetically, except for “Scene.” If “Scene” is part of the smart group layout, the sorting takes prefixes and suffixes into account (e.g., “A3”, “x3”, “3”, “3B”).The available smart group layouts are accessible from the settings button in the right sidebar.
You can choose one of the following smart group layouts:
- Feature (Scene): Scene, Take
- Feature (Scene-Shot): Scene, Shot, Take
- Episodic (Scene): Season, Episode, Scene, Take
- Episodic (Scene-Shot): Season, Episode, Scene, Shot, Take
- Location: Location, Shooting Day, Scene, Shot
- Camera: Crew Unit, Location, Camera, Scene
- Labels: Label, Scene, Shot
- Flagged: Flagged, Scene, Shot
- Rating: Rating, Scene, Shot

Project Outline with Smart Groups
Note: Smart groups are pre-filtered by the selected folder/bin in the library outline sidebar. When you want to view all available items in the library, make sure to select the “Library” root folder in the library outline.
The folder or bin selected in the library is shown as root level in the smart group tab so that the library outline tab can be closed anytime.
Custom Column Layout (Table View)
Choose the Table View to display your library items as a list in the main frame. You can create new column layouts from scratch or based on a given preset. The Table View can be configured and customized with the settings icon by adding or removing metadata columns. As an option, you can decide what kind of units you prefer and which files are shown. By using the columns search field, the metadata column you are interested can be found easily. As soon as you add or remove columns to your selection, you can save your custom column layouts as a preset with a new name. If you resized a column or reordered the columns before, these changes are saved with your custom column layout.
You can load your custom column layout in other cloud projects as well. Optionally, you can share your presets and provide them to other members with the invitation to your project. Every project member is allowed to change the Table View as needed. Additionally, you can export clip reports or CSV files based on your column layout presets.

As an option smart group and table column layout can be set in the project invitation
