Input slot settings
The input slot settings display configuration and status information for the currently selected input slot. They provide an overview of the slot type, source configuration, slot mode, and filter chain.
The settings are shown in the slot panel in the upper-right area of the main window.
Input slot settings
Opening input slot settings#
Input slot settings are displayed when an input slot is selected.
To view the settings:
- Select an input slot in the Slots view.
- Open the Slot Settings tab in the slot panel.
Slot header#
Slot type label
Displays the slot type. For input slots, the value Input Slot is fixed and cannot be edited.
Slot character label
Displays the character identifier of the slot. The slot character can be modified in the slot manager.
Slot label text field
Displays the slot label and allows editing the slot name.
Slot source options#
Source label
Displays the image and metadata source assigned to the slot. The source is configured in the Slot Manager.
Loaded clip label
Displays the name of the clip currently loaded in the input slot. The loaded clip changes when a different clip is loaded into the selected slot.
Slot mode#
Mode segmented control
Sets the operating mode of the input slot.
Live
Displays the configured incoming signal during monitoring and recording.
Playback
Displays the currently loaded clip from the Clip Library and enables playback.
Reference
Displays a composite of the slot’s live signal and playback signal. Available layouts include side-by-side, swipe, and overlay.
Filter settings#
Video filters can be applied to input slots to modify the appearance of the incoming signal.
Add Filter button
Adds a new filter to the filter chain.
Filter chain
Displays all active filters for the slot. Filters are processed sequentially from top to bottom.
The order of filters can be changed by dragging them within the filter chain.
When a recording is created, the active filter configuration is stored with the clip. During playback, filters can be reviewed and adjusted in input slots and library slots without modifying the recorded media.
When filter settings are modified while a clip is loaded, a Save button appears. This button stores the modified filter configuration with the clip.
