Reeltime supports a wide range of devices that interact with the software. The device types are:
Video I/O devices#
Video I/O devices are used for capturing SDI live signals and playing out processed live signals or playback signals to various destinations on set. For larger setups, you can use multiple devices simultaneously. You can also use multiple devices from the same model or combine devices from different manufacturers.

Io family by AJA#
Devices: Io 4k Plus, Io 4k, Io X3, Io XT
Connectivity: Thunderbolt (TB2/3 depending on device and generation, see manufacturer website)
SDI Inputs/Outputs: Up to 4 configurable input/output ports
SDI formats: 1.5G or 3G SDI signalsIo 4K Plus: 6G with 1 input and 1 output

Notes: The Io XT is only capable of using one single link 3G input and one single link 3G output simultaneously.

Video routers#
Reeltime can automate video router configurations. For example, you can route a camera’s live signal directly to a monitor based on if the output slot connected to the monitor receives a live signal. Furthermore, you can use a video router to distribute one signal to multiple destination on set.
