Reeltime supports a wide range of devices that interact with the software. The device types are:

Video I/O devices#

Video I/O devices are used for capturing SDI live signals and playing out processed live signals or playback signals to various destinations on set. For larger setups, you can use multiple devices simultaneously. You can also use multiple devices from the same model or combine devices from different manufacturers.

Video routers#

Reeltime can automate video router configurations. For example, you can route a camera’s live signal directly to a monitor based on if the output slot connected to the monitor receives a live signal. Furthermore, you can use a video router to distribute one signal to multiple destination on set.

Audio interfaces#

Reeltime allows capturing the sound of multiple audio input channels together with video recordings and playing out the live audio or playback audio to one audio output device. You can use any audio interface that is compatible with macOS.
