Scopes
Scopes offer possibilities to monitor luminance and color values of images in Livegrade.
Scopes tab#
To open the scopes tab:
- Click on the Slot you want to set up.
- Click on the Scopes tab within the slot panel in the bottom-right of the main screen.
Within the scopes window, you find the following elements:
Scopes tool chooser dropdown menu
Allows to choose which scope tool should be shown: Waveform, waveform + vector scope, histogram, all scopes.
Ellipsis (…) button
Offers more actions for the scopes window.
Undock button
Allows the scopes window to be undocked from the main UI.

Show Settings menu item
Shows additional settings for the current tool.
Hide Settings menu item
Hides additional settings for the current tool.
Color Primaries menu item
Allows to set the color primaries Rec. 709 or Rec. 2020 for the current image.Auto sets it automatically based on the target colorspace set in the “Grading” tab of Livegrade’s settings.
Scopes settings#
The scope settings can be found at the bottom of the scope settings. They can be shown or hidden via the ellipsis menu next to the scopes to choose.
Mode dropdown menu
Selects the color channel to be analyzed.
Y-Axis dropdown menu
Sets the unit for the Y axis.
Intensity slider
Defines the thickness of the drawn lines.
Result Curve checkbox
When activated, a curve shows the result of the entire correction current looks
