Settings overview
With your Livegrade application, several settings and configurations will be saved on your computer.
Those settings and configurations can be
- exported and imported individually by using the “Settings Export/Import” dialog, or
- moved entirely to a different computer by using the “Clone System” dialog.
Global settings#
Global settings are settings that can be made specifically for the computer.
To edit global settings, open Livegrade’s settings via the main menu Livegrade > [Settings…].
Global settings include, for example:
- Automatic naming schemes for “Clip Identifier” or “Viewer Image Export”
- Slating System
- Behavior after a recording
- Devices
Project settings#
Project settings are settings that are saved with every project.
To edit project settings, open Livegrade’s settings via the main menu Livegrade > [Settings…].
Sections that are stored individually for each project are indicated by the suffix … for Project “Your-Project-Name”.
Project settings include, for example:
- Custom fields
- Labels
- Marker types
- Media and record folders
Configurations#
Like the global settings, configurations are computer specific and they include individual configurations in the app, such as
- Shot library column and smart group layouts
- Router configurations
- Automations
