Setting up AJA FS-HDR

Livegrade comes with support for AJA FS-HDR devices.

Adding the AJA FS-HDR as look device#

To exchange look information with Livegrade, the AJA FS-HDR needs to have a working network connection with the Mac where Livegrade is running.

Please refer to the manufacturer’s documentation for setting up the AJA FS-HDR in your network with a dedicated IP address.

The AJA FS-HDR has a web interface for configuring the device’s IP address, watching a preview of the live video signal, configuring the system settings, and more.

Once you have obtained the device’s IP address, you can add the AJA FS-HDR to any input slot using the slot manager.

Open the slot manager

  • by clicking on the Slot Manager symbol in the toolbar or
  • via the menu: Livegrade > [Slot Manager…]

Open Slot Manager

In the slot manager, click on the input you want to add the device to.

Within an input click on + Add Device in the Look Devices section to add your AJA FS-HDR to the slot.

Choose AJA FS-HDR to add a new AJA FS-HDR to your slot setup.

To assign a certain channel of an already added AJA FS-HDR device to a slot, choose the an available channel (e.g. AJA FS-HDR (127.0.0.1) (Ch2)) within the pop-up menu.
