Livegrade supports a wide range of devices that interact with the software. The device types are:

LUT boxes#

This type of devices is used for interactive look control of an HD-SDI stream. They usually have an in- and output to route the signal through the box. Livegrade connects to them to manipulate the look of the image.

  • ColorBox and OG-ColorBox by AJA#

    Connectivity: Ethernet, Wi-Fi via third party external USB adapter

    Extras: 4K frame grab, timecode, metadata, frame grab quality option

    Notes: 12G-SDI, clean loop through, web interface with video preview

    Best suitable for advanced setups involving 6G/12G (4K) signals. High update interval even at 4K resolutions. Highly flexible product for a broad range of use cases.

Cameras#

This type of devices is used for interactive look control of the output signal of the camera. The cameras have the processing power built inside. Livegrade connects to the camera to manipulate the look of the camera output image.

Monitors#

This type of devices is used for interactive look control of the image directly on the monitor. The monitors have the processing power of the LUTbox built inside. Livegrade connects to the monitor to manipulate the look of the image.

Video routers and switches#

Livegrade can automate video router configurations. This can be used to route camera signals to the monitor depending on the selected slot, or to feed signals of different cameras to one capture device.

LED Processing and Control#

Livegrade Studio offers various integrations with existing virtual production technology provided by Unreal, Brompton, Megapixel, NovaStar and Disguise. By controlling CDL values or 3D LUTs in a connected system you can interactively adjust the virtual environment or LED walls with Livegrade Studio’s proven grading controls.
