LiveGrade Air offers an in-app purchase bundle that allows the integration with the Flanders Scientific DM250 SDI monitor. With this bundle you can send CDL looks via a wireless connection to be applied on the live image.
Setting up the FSI DM250 Monitor
In order to receive look information from LiveGrade Air, the FSI DM250 monitor needs to have a working connection in the same network as the iPad where LiveGrade Air is running on. Once the network connection has been established, you can check the IP address of the monitor.
How to find the monitor’s IP address:
- Go to the Main Menu -> System Status -> IP Address
- Note the IP Address. We will need it later in LiveGrade
Setting up LiveGrade Air
To control the monitor you can add an FSI Monitor Connection tab by clicking on the top right button in the grading screen:
Then click on the «+» button to add the tab:
LiveGrade Air then asks you to enter the monitor’s IP address:
Controlling the looks on the FSI DM250 monitor
Once the setup is complete you can start grading the live signal using LiveGrade Air. You may want to switch to the «Color Wheels» mode in the FSI Monitor tab to get direct CDL control:
LiveGrade Air doesn’t show a live image while controlling the FSI DM250 monitor, but you can hit the «refresh image» button to get the current frame displayed by the monitor at any time:
